Brewed once a year in celebration of the Red River Rivalry, the roll-out of Oklahoma Suks from Independence Brewing has been in full swing for the past two weeks. For those of you still wanting to pick up a case before the big game this weekend, its been delivered to most HEB's and Spec's locations as well as Central Market, Whole Foods (downtown) and various other locations around Austin. However, its always in high demand and sells out fast. If you're still looking for it, you may want to call first before driving around town.

aha. I'm a native Houstonian expatriate now living in the comparative Yankeeland of Washington, D.C. and I've been following your blog for a while. Just saw this entry and I am sorely tempted to make one of my family members get some of this for me at Spec's, and save it until I'm home at Christmastime. Thanks for the laugh and hook 'em.
