The Anvil is hosting a Beer 101 class on Saturday, September 11th from 1pm ~ 3pm for those who are interested in learning about the fundamentals of craft beer. Kevin Floyd, co-owner and beer wrangler of the Anvil, will provide samples of various beers that will showcase the different
qualities influenced by the choice of malts, yeasts, hops and other additives. Ronnie Crocker at
Beer, TX indicated the beers that will be sampled which includes the
Mikkeller Chipotle Porter and
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace (a personal favourite). The cost is $50 per person in advance and is limited to only 45 people. Stop by the Anvil to make a reservation.

Yeah, I thought that was a little pricey as well, but I guess it depends on how much beer you get with it.
Perhaps you are paying for the education. Do we get some sort of certificate? Can I put it on my resume? LinkedIn profile?
